Reference Management Software
Modern reference management systems offer more than collecting bibliographical data, creating bibliographies or adding quotations and references. They support numerous additional options, such as retaining and organizing knowledge, scientific exchange via Social Web, research in research data bases, a great choice of citation styles and the integration of quotations and references into word processing programs.
The ULB offers students and staff of the HHU a campus licence for the following reference management software:
Citavi is a Windows-based software, developed from Literat. It is a comprehensive program combining reference management (collecting, managing and listing of references) with knowledge organization. References can easily be imported via the Citavi-Picker. Full texts, quotations, thoughts and abstracts can be retained and content can be analysed.
