CABELLS Predatory Reports

Cabell's Predatory Reports helps you to identify deceptive journals (so-called predatory journals). Over 17,000 journals are included in the database and have been checked for their reliability on the basis of around 70 criteria. Violations and suspicious indications are listed so that you can form your own opinion about the quality of the journal. When evaluating the journals, indicators such as information on the peer review process, business practices or the type and scope of publication are assessed.

It is important to note that the absence of a journal in the Predatory Reports does not automatically mean that the journal is reputable. Rather, the database can be regarded as a blacklist.
