You are uncertain about the transcription of handwritten sources? You would like to know what your grandparents or great-grandparents wrote about in diaries, letters or postcards – we’ve got some tips for you on how to learn Kurrente or Sütterlin based on your own example documents (a letter or a diary entry).

On Wednesday, 24 May 2023 experts from the “State Library and Special Collections” division of the University and State Library will regularly answer these and similar questions about the transcription of Gothic writings of the modern era free of charge in a 30-minute web conference.
