For in-depth subject-specific information needs, numerous full text- and reference databases are available.

Searching in Databases: Database Information System (DBIS)

The ULB Düsseldorf participates in the Database Information System (Datenbank Info-System, DBIS). Several thousand databases are listed in DBIS and most of them are free on the Internet. In addition, the ULB Düsseldorf holds licenses for several hundred databases.

  • National LicensesVia national licenses access to databases, electronic text collections and online periodicals archives is granted. You also find the national licenses funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG; German Research Foundation) in DBIS.

The ULB offers you a convenient transition from literature search to the actual document by means of our link resolving service.
