Digital Collections and services
The Digital Collections present digital facsimiles of manuscripts and prints from the period around 800 to approximately 1920 from the holdings of ULB and its partner institutions. Scanning, data processing, presentation and long-term archiving follow the quality standards of DFG German Research Foundation (Practical Guidelines on Digitisation).
The digital works are made available as freely as possible, in various formats and via different interfaces. In addition to the digitisation of cultural heritage, the Digitisation Centre offers scanning services for studying and teaching on campus.
