LAN access points for connecting with the network of HHU are available on all levels of the Central Library (on the south side of the building) and in the decentralized libraries. You can also borrow a LAN cable from the information desk. A valid university identification (Uni-Kennung ...) is required.

You can conduct literature searches on all PCs in the ULB.
You can only access the subject databases provided with a user ID. The use is free of charge.

In general, the loan period is 28 calendar days; material can be renewed at a maximum of 180 days (or 336 days for academic staff), provided your fee account does not exceed 40 euros and there are no holds on the respective items. The loan periods for interlibrary loans are set by the lending libraries.
Please be aware that fees apply in case the loan period is exceeded!
